Though Takamaka is within easy reach of other beautiful beaches such as Anse Soleil, Anse Marie Louise, Anse Forbans and the famous Intendance beach it is advisable to rent a car to visit the more distant places of interest. Public buses or taxis are other alternatives.

• 45 minutes from the jetty to other islands.

• 10 minutes from the closest petrol station at Baie Lazare.

• 05 minutes from next shop, Quatre Borne.
